Join us for an intimate and reflective Tu Bishvat gathering, celebrating nature, renewal, and creativity.
The evening will feature Beate Myrvold from Freydl and Ingrid Shank on cello, performing Yiddish songs inspired by nature, landscape, and the changing seasons. Through music and shared listening, we explore how nature has been reflected in Jewish language, memory, and imagination.
We warmly invite those who wish to bring along a short text, poem, or piece of writing about nature—Jewish or non-Jewish, personal or literary—to share with the group.
We will serve wine, fruit, nuts, and simple snacks, in the spirit of Tu Bishvat’s traditional connection to the fruits of the land.
