Our recent Amy Winehouse evening became one of those rare gatherings where music, culture, and community came together in a deeply personal and intimate way. The apartment filled with people of different ages and backgrounds, all gathered around a shared love for Amy’s music, story, and atmosphere.

Throughout the evening we explored Amy Winehouse not only as an iconic artist, but also through the cultural world that shaped her: North London, Camden, jazz, soul, vulnerability, rebellion, and Jewish family life.

A special highlight of the evening was the beautiful live performance by the incredibly talented duo Seb and Vilde, who brought Amy’s songs into the room with warmth, intimacy, and emotional depth. The atmosphere became quiet, emotional, and deeply communal as people gathered closely around the performance.

What stayed with many afterwards was not only the music itself, but the feeling of connection the evening created. People stayed long after the performance ended, talking, laughing, singing, and simply enjoying being together.
