Since we started back in 2016, we have gathered over 200 young adults with Jewish background or connection to fantastic events and weekend trips.
It is therefore with great pleasure we would like to invite you to a wonderful weekend at Ilsetra in the middle of the ski season at one of Norway’s most beautiful places, Hafjelltoppen.
We plan to organize cross country skiing trip, classic Norwegian rebus game, downhill skiing and swimming in the heated outdoor pool. Enjoy the fireplace with “whiskey tasting” and lectures from one of Israel’s hippest whiskey distilleries and other interesting lectures. Like always, there will be interesting conversations and debates on topics that concern us. This can be anything you have in your heart, an interesting field you work on, business, innovation or issues in identity and religion, as well as creative artistic moments. If you would like to contribute, we are open to any suggestions. If you have kids and cannot find baby siters for the weekend – contact us and we’ll find a solution for you to bring the kids.
Kos & Koas is an initiative that started in Oslo in 2016.
We organize meetings, culinary experiences, traveling, gather wonderful young adults for from Scandinavia.
We aim to bring together young adult professionals (25-45) with Jewish background or belonging from all of Scandinavia.
Kos & Kaos is for absolutely everyone who wants to expand their network through experiences, fun and conversation. We all have exciting stories to share and we are thinking a lot about the future as Jews and citizens of the world. Focusing on innovation that challenges conventional thinking, new forms of creativity are identified, which initiate conversations about the desirable future of the world, as well as Jewish life and identity.
Among the speakers, Mosab Yousef (The son of Hamas), Rabbi Micha Odenheimer (Tevel bZedeq), TV 2 editor Gerhard Helskog, and many more have been through. The initiative is supported by The Charles & Lynn Schusterman Foundation & Drøbakk AS.
Hafjell is easy to reach by bus or train to Lillehammer from Oslo. More information will come soon.
Ilsetra Hotel has lovely apartments that can accommodate 2 – 4 people. As some come in pairs and others alone, this year we have set a price of NOK 3000 per person for the whole weekend. Price includes hotel room. Friday: Shabbath dinner. Saturday: breakfast, lunch and party dinner, Sunday: brunch and all other activity.
